My wife and I were visiting the area to explore the nearby Cavan and Leitrim Railway and stayed for five nights. The breakfast was a standout highlight, featuring a fantastic full Irish breakfast that set us up for the day. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in cleanliness, especially in the dining area and main bathroom, which made our meals enjoyable. Joe, the manager, provided a superb welcome, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming, making it easy to relax after our outings.

The staff was very helpful and easygoing, kept everything fairly clean and perfect. The room itself was nicely decorated and brand-new and with a hair dryer, big fresh towels, as example. All the services were very good.

The bathroom, while clean, felt a bit dated and could use some modernization. The Wi-Fi connection was patchy during the evening.

I woudl ve been pleased if the wifi hadn't been so patchy in the evening and the shower didn't show signs of age. The staff were acceptable, but I expected at least a welcome gift for what I paid. Almost thought of leaving a good review, but just couldn't, as my stay was by no means really good.

The staff were super friendly, and our rooms had all we needed. We loved having breakfast included and the food was delicious every time. The playground was perfect for our downtime, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace. Highly recommend this spot for friends.
The Wi-Fi connection was patchy during the evening, a bit difficult for us to stay connected when we needed it.

Just an appropriate option for taking strolls in Dromod with a good price-quality ratio. The beef rib at dinner was delicious and hit the spot after a long drive. Make sure to try the shower to unknot your muscles after a day of exploring.

excellent staff , but some upgrades needed
The kindness and professionalism displayed by Jo and her team. I appreciated how the staff were really good, particularly when they helped everyone with transportation to our events. The breakfast, with local dishes, was a good highlight that set a great tone for the day.
The shower in my room, while functional, showed signs of age that could use some updating.

missingWrote a review on 12 Juldelicious breakfasthelpful staffdated showeruncomfortable mattresstaxi availability
Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious home-cooked dishes that impressed everyone. The staff were really nice, even personally ensuring we all got to our family event when taxis weren't available. The shower in the room, while functional with great water pressure, showed signs of age that could use some updating. The warm night led to some discomfort with the mattress, which tended to sink too much.
